MYBELOVED

Unfortunately FR by Fashion Rocks closed last weekend due to financial issues.

I am truly upset and sad to see our fabulous team get split up because of this. I have never worked under such brilliant managers and with people who are so passionate about their job.

Our team had fantastic client service skills and had brilliant knowledge on the clothes in store - which is not seen currently on the high street.

Sad to see it go. Such a waste.

Best of luck to my fellow staff mates and managers. Hope we will stay in touch!

LADYFASHION: McQueen Prefall

How stunning is the black lace and mousseline gown?

Sarah Burton's collection oozes with victorianesque fashion features! High neck, long sleeves! Burton has given the McQueen brand the continued power with a feminine twist.

I love the floral embroidery and take note a the nipped in waist.

Below are my favourite images of the collection. (btw i see Rooney Mara in the full length black lace and mousseline gown)

LADYFASHION&GOLDENGLOBES: Angelina Jolie

Last year she must have been my best dressed in the green long sleeved Versace number. See below.

Atelier Versace has hit it again. With a white tight one shoulder silk floor length gown with hints of red. Note the matching clutch and lips! See below.

Brangelina are just perfection.

LADYFASHION&GOLDENGLOBES: Lea Michelle

I am not a hug fan of her, I never got the Glee obsession and to be honest I do not think she is that great looking.

But the dress is awesome. The dress outshined her. The dress wore her!

Ha!

It is a custom made Marchesa!

LADYFASHION&GOLDENGLOBES: Dianna Argon

I am a big lover of the London brand Giles. And the spring 2012 collection was flawless. Its brilliant to see it on the red carpet.

Be sure to check out the Giles collection here if you haven't seen it:

LADYFASHION&GOLDENGLOBES: Rooney Mara

Edgy, chic, sophisticated and sexy.

Since taking to role of Lisabeth Salander, Rooney Mara has travelled the globe and walked multiple red carpet film premieres for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Her style has transformed. I need to know who her stylist it!!! Mara has been seen rocking Givenchy couture, Miu Miu, Dion Lee, Valentino and Rodarte.

Mara was nominated in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama category for her role in ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.’

At the Golden Globes 2012 - she shows of her porcelain toned body in a Nicci Ricci bondage vs net style dress with a deep neckline. Her black hair is scraped back into a ponytail. See images below.

My eyes on this budding ‘risk-taking’ fashionista, she is definitely one fashionista to watch in 2012. I hope that she keeps the black hair and porcelain skin after the Dragon Tattoo movies are done. She is just so fresh and new - the next Angelina Jolie perhaps?

True Movie Star: Rachel McAdams

The movement in this dress is just unreal! At every angle the dress is just breathe-taking. For fashionista please try and see some video footage of it!

ALEXANDER WANG: Pre Fall

Alexander Wang also expresses the androgynous trend for this season.
Using menswear tailoring fabrics for majority of the garments showcases hard, clean cut edge to the womenswear collection.

Fabrics alongside these were mesh, houndstooth and plaid.

The collection seems very clean and professional, modern work wear.

Again the love of my life: leather, has been snuck into my favourite outfit builds below.

Givenchy Pre Fall

Androgynous styling that gives the woman power. Givenchy has it in this collection. Riccardo Tisci has blown my mind the last couple of years and nobody can forget the couture collection of last year, that would be a crime.

The pre fall shows urban dressing shot in urban surroundings. The military style never seem to stray far away from fashion as it is repeated in the fall seasons. Military tailoring of the jackets and coats are seen in this collection, in khaki, olive and sand colours.

The collection carries over the tropical blooms of pansies and panthers from previous ranges.

The hints of leather always gets me!

Diesel Black Gold: Pre-fall

The brand has been showcasing runway collections for around five years now. What I do love about Diesel is it's laid back nonchalance rock 'n' roll edge.

The pre-fall collection was shown in NYC, by Sophia Kokosalaki.

The collection you see:
Polished tailoring
Strong use in outerwear, e.g. utilitarian wool overcoat, patent windbreaker and pebble effect leather jackets.
In contrast to the hard outwearing, lightweight silk parachute dresses was in use.

Below are the images from the shoot that are my favourite. I adore the red patent leather trousers and top outfit!
