Burberry Prorsum Show Fall 2012

It feels like a long long time ago since I sat at my PC and typed into my blog. I've been using the old iphone for the ease and the fact I have been well and truly busy with this 4 week uni project I have been working on.

Old Chav Burberry...

So

I went to Burberry show (AGAIN!!!) on monday. No biggy... ;). A lot of celebrity spotting took place! Alexa Chung, Anna Wintour, Will.i.am, Amir Khan, Rosie Huntington Whitely and Labyrinth to name a few.

I am a huge fan of Christopher Bailey since he turned Burberry around from it's fake gypsy chav image, (remember those days?). How on earth did he do it, I will never know?!?

Key Details:

1. Peplums
2. Nipped in waist
3. Pencil skirt with a waterfall ruffle - note the one hemmed with zipper teeth!
4. Tiers of fringing
5. VELVET
6. Country critters - owl, sparrows and dogs embroiderd on shirts. Foxes heads in gold on the clutch bags. Duck heads on the umberellas.
7. Shearing lined coats.
8. Swingback coats, or jackets with ruffles at the lower back.
9. The lush gold studding on the clutch bags and gloves!

The ending was gorgeous. The show finished with a lightening noice and thundershowers beating down on the glass roof. Rain never looked so good! The model came down the runway with false rain (silver confetti) and autumnal coloured umberellas.
